Current mainstream of bariatric surgeries include laparoscopic adjustable gastric banding, sleeve gastrectomy, Roux en Y gastric bypass and biliopancreatic diversion. In this review, the efficacy of different surgical procedures was compared in the aspects of metabolic disorder remission and incidence of operation complications and mortality.
