Abstract
Intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma is the second commonest primary malignant tumor in liver. It carries a poor prognosis because of the highly invasive and metastatic characters. Radical resection may be the only cured way for intrahepa〖JP3〗tic cholangiocarcinoma. In the past few years, the surgical strategy〖JP〗 has changed a lot due to the understanding of the biological behavior and advance of surgical techniques. These changes mainly focused on the surgical indication, liver resection and lymphadenectomy. In addition, the treatment strategy to the reccurent intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma has also been evolved.
