  • Compared with the 2008 edition, the new version based on evidence and consensus of experts made some revisions as follows: (1) it produced recommendations in light of the quality of evidence; (2) it deleted the prevention part and emphasized on the diagnosis and management for BDI; (3) it optimized Chinese classification system for BDI; (4) it added evidence-based evaluation on the role of endoscopic management for BDI; (5) it formulated the rules of treatment according to stages and classification of BDI.
