Progress in surgery for hemangioma of liver

Clinical manifestation of hemangioma of liver is unspecific, and its diagnosis mainly depends on imageology. Surgery is the most common and important treatment for hemangioma of liver. There is much controversy on the timing of operation, indication and surgical procedures of hemangioma of liver because of little evidences from laboratory and clinical analysis. In this paper, the current situation and progress of diagnosis and treatment for hemangioma of liver were summarized, and our experiences were introduced.
