Current status of diagnosis and treatment for hepatic sinusoidal obstruction syndrome

In recent years, clinical understanding of hepatic sinusoidal obstruction syndrome (HSOS), also known as hepatic veno‑occlusive disease, has been continuously deepening. Due to its insidious onset, significant regional differences in etiology, and the fact that diagnostic and treatment strategies involve comprehensive management ranging from drugs and interventions to liver trans-plantation, research on the diagnosis and treatment of HSOS has received increasing attention. Based on a CiteSpace bibliometric visual analysis of the Web of Science database, the authors examine the current status of research on the diagnosis and treatment of HSOS, aiming to provide reference for future research directions.
