Research progress of full‑right full‑left split liver transplantation

Split liver transplantation, as an innovative technique that can effectively alleviate the shortage of donor liver, has received increasing attention and been widely applied in recent years. Through continuous research and technological innovation, the technology of full‑right full‑left split liver transplantation(fSLT) has reached a new stage globally. The authors provide a review of recent research hotspots, including donor selection, dissection techniques, patient and graft survival and postoperative complications, aiming to provide evidence‑based support for the clinical practice of fSLT.
