Guideline for diagnosis and treatment of perioperative period management in liver transplan-tation for liver failure (2026 edition)

Liver failure is the common severe liver disease syndrome in clinic, and liver transplantation is effective treatment for liver failure. In order to reduce the mortality during the perioperative period of liver transplantation for liver failure, the Perioperative Management Group of Chinese Society of Organ Transplantation has formulated Guideline for diagnosis and treatment of perioperative period management in liver transplantation for liver failure (2026 edition) based the evidence-based medicine evidence from domestic and foreign research in this field, combined with the clinical practice in China. This guideline emphasizes the important role of multidisciplinary com-prehensive treatment, aiming to improve the level of diagnosis and treatment of liver transplanta-tion for liver failure, reduce the mortality during the perioperative period of liver transplantation for liver failure, and improve the prognosis of patients.
