Expert consensus on precision surgical diagnosis and treatment of colorectal cancer (2025 edition)

Colorectal cancer is a common malignant tumor of digestive tract in China, with an increasing incidence rate. In order to standardize the implementation of the concept of precision surgery for colorectal cancer, the Colorectal Surgery Group, the Laparoscopic & Endoscopic Surgery Group, Branch of Surgery, Chinese Medical Association, and the Editorial Board of the Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery have organized domestic experts in relevant fields to develop the "Expert consensus on precision surgical diagnosis and treatment of colorectal cancer (2025 edition)" based on evidence-based medicine, guided by common clinical practice issues such as disease assessment, oncology preci-sion assessment, comprehensive treatment, and precision surgery decision‑making in colorectal cancer surgery. This consensus aims to improve the long‑term survival and quality of life of colorectal cancer patients by standardizing the implementation of precision surgery concepts and strageties.
