Chinese expert consensus on laparoscopic pericardial devascularization (2022 edition)

In recent years, with the rapid development of laparoscopic surgery, laparos-copic pericardial devascularization has been applied in more and more medical centers in China. In order to promote this technology in a scientific and standardized manner and to guide clinical practice, the Chinese Society of Spleen and Portal Hypertension Surgery from Chinese Society of Surgery of Chinese Medical Association organizes experts and formulates Chinese expert consensus on laparoscopic pericardial devascularization (2022 edition). This consensus adheres to the standardi-zation and minimally invasive principles of surgical treatment of portal hypertension, the main contents of which include indications and contraindications, preoperative evaluation and anesthesia method, surgical instruments and equipment, key points of surgical techniques and precautions, indications for intraoperative conversion to laparotomy, postoperative management and common postoperative complications, etc, in order to standardize clinical application of laparoscopic peri-cardial devascularization.
