Abstract:
Since the National Department of Health started the organ donation after citizen′s death in China in the year of 2010, the organ donation has widespreadly developed in China through the joint effort, especially the organ donation after cardiac death (DCD). The expert consensus should be composed as soon as possible for the quality evaluation of DCD organ and the effective and safe clinical application of DCD. Therefore, the Expert consensus on evaluation and application of organ donated after cardiac death in China 〖STBX〗(2014 edition)〖STBZ〗 was composed by the Chinese Society of Organ Transplantation, Section of Organ Transplantion, Chinese Society of Suregery and Chinese College of Transplant Doctors. The expert consensus focused on the diagnostic criteria of the DCD and cardiac death in China, the procurement of the donated organs, the evaluation and application of the liver transplantation or kidney transplantation and the special interventions of the recipients at the perioperative period.
