Abstract:
Gastric cancer is one of the most common gastrointestinal malignancies in China, and surgical resection remains the cornerstone of its treatment. To implement the concept of preci-sion surgery in gastric cancer and standardize enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) strategies for gastric cancer procedures, the Robotic and Laparoscopic Surgery Committee of the Chinese Research Hospital Association and the Editorial Board of Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery organize domestic experts in the field. Based on common clinical practice issues in ERAS for precision gastric cancer surgery, and integrating literature, expert experience, and the latest evidence‑based medical evidence, they conduct multiple discussions on key topics including ERAS eligibility criteria, pre-operative assessment and prehabilitation, intraoperative procedures and injury control, postopera-tive monitoring and management, develop
Expert consensus on enhanced recovery after surgery for precision surgery in gastric cancer (2025 edition), aiming to further promote the standardized appli-cation of the ERAS pathway in precision gastric cancer surgery.
