Abstract:
After preliminary exploration, the conversion therapeutic strategies of hepatoce-llular carcinoma have been enriched, with a gradual improvement in the efficacy and success rates of conversion therapy. At the same time, a series of issues related to conversion therapy have emerged, such as the deterioration of patients' physical and psychological functions due to adverse events, an increase in postoperative complications, and a delay in postoperative recovery. A multimodal preha-bilitation approach, oriented by exercise, nutritional support, and psychological interventions during the conversion therapy period, can ameliorate the deterioration of patients' physical and psycholo-gical functions caused by conversion therapy, enhance surgical tolerance, and improve postoperative outcomes. However, adverse events associated with conversion therapy pose challenges to the imple-mentation of prehabilitation. Therefore, in the process of conversion therapy, prehabilitation measures should be dynamically adjusted based on the efficacy and adverse events of the conversion therapy. By consulting relevant literatures and combining with the practical experience, the authors conduct a discussion on the prerehabilitation treatment during the conversion process based on the difficulties and challenges caused by the conversion therapy of hepatocellular carcinoma.
