Abstract:
Laparoscopic hepatectomy has been gradually applied to various diseases in hepatobiliary surgery. The development of laparoscopic hepatectomy is with the evolution of the surgical approach. Physician experience, tumor location, patient size, and liver anatomy influences the strategies and techniques which selected by doctors to resect the lesions. With the development of laparoscopic technology, the approach for laparoscopic hepatectomy has been continuously updated and evolved. There is no consensus on the approach of laparoscopic hepatectomy in China. There-fore, the editorial board of
Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery, organized domestic experts in the related fields to adopt the Delphi method, and repeated discussions, finally confirmed the
Chinese expert consensus on the surgical approach for laparoscopic hepatectomy (2023 Edition), aiming to popularize the various surgical approaches for laparoscopic hepatectomy and the scope of applica-tion, and introduce the recommended surgical approaches for the different parts of liver resection.
