Abstract: The incidence of portal vein tumor thrombus (PVTT) in patients with hepato-cellular carcinoma (HCC) is high and the prognosis is poor. The treatment mode of HCC+PVTT is changing to multidisciplinary comprehensive treatment. The authors make a deep investigation on the occurrence basis, classification, surgical treatment indication, postoperative adjuvant treatment and preoperative conversion treatment plan of HCC+PVTT, in order to provide reference for the diagnosis and treatment of this disease.
