Abstract: Colorectal cancer is a common malignant tumor of the digestive system, accoun-ting for about 10% of all new cancer cases worldwide. In recent years, a large number of studies have proved that gut microbiota and its metabolites play an important role in the occurrence of colorectal cancer, and different pathogenic models can explain for the pathogenic mode of different gut microbiota. The authors review the role and mechanism of gut microbiota in colorectal cancer.
